This sterilization unit utilizes germicidal ultraviolet lamps that produce short wave radiation that is lethal to bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms that can be present in water. These lamps are widely used for disinfection in hospitals, veterinaries, manufacturing and food processing plants and laboratories to protect personnel and prevent cross infection.
